The Walnut Track is available for Elementary (SD) and Junior High (SMP) participants at Semifinal. Walnut is not a track for Senior High/Vocational (SMA/SMK) — SMA/SMK participants compete in the C++ track.
Two education levels, two Walnut programs.
Both tracks compete for the same Grand Final spot within their education level.
General Track
Walnut Track
Walnut is a track option within SATRIA, not a separate competition. General and Walnut apply only to SD and SMP.
Walnut for Elementary
For Elementary participants, the Walnut Track uses Walnut Scratch as the competition environment at Semifinal — a project-based, visual programming approach that gives young participants a guided way to practice coding and problem-solving skills within the SATRIA journey.
Walnut for Junior High
For Junior High participants, the Walnut Track uses Walnut Python as the competition environment at Semifinal, building on Python fundamentals with the Walnut program context — a step up in complexity for participants ready to go further with real code within the SATRIA journey.
