SATRIA — Smart AI & Tech Competition for a Rising Indonesia — is a national programming, AI, and technology competition organized by Centrinova for students from Elementary through Senior High/Vocational High School.
Through Competitive Programming and Hackathon challenges across Qualification, Semifinal, and Grand Final, SATRIA prepares young Indonesian talent to compete, create, and grow into the technology leaders of tomorrow.

Three rounds, from your school to the national stage.
For Elementary (SD) and Junior High (SMP) participants, Semifinal offers two track options.
General Track
The standard Semifinal track for SD and SMP, competing in Competitive Programming with the same qualification path toward the Grand Final.
Walnut Track
Walnut Scratch (SD) or Walnut Python (SMP) — the Walnut technology ecosystem track, competing for the same Grand Final spot as General Track.
General and Walnut tracks apply only to SD and SMP. Senior High/Vocational (SMA/K) competes in the C++ track. Grand Final Competitive Programming is shared between General and Walnut participants within the same education level.
A SATRIA Track & Product Ecosystem
Walnut is a technology and learning ecosystem featured in SATRIA 2026 through Walnut Scratch for Elementary and Walnut Python for Junior High — a meaningful alternative to the General Track for students who want a deeper learning experience.

Walnut Python
An optional competition at the Grand Final, separate from Competitive Programming. The 150 minutes cover both project development and presentation.
Create a Scratch project on a given AI theme — General Scratch 3 or Walnut Scratch.
Build a Python project using PictoBlox (General) or Walnut Python, on a given AI theme.
Vibe Coding a web app in VS Code using free AI tools, on a theme given during the Hackathon.
The committee contacts the Top 20 Semifinal scorers in each education level by WhatsApp direct message to ask whether they can join. If a Top 20 participant is unable to join, the spot goes to the next-ranked participant. Hackathon results never affect the Competitive Programming score — they have separate scoring and separate winners.
The Semifinal is held onsite across 8 host cities in Indonesia.

Qualification on 19 September 2026 (online), Semifinal on 10–17 October 2026 (onsite across 8 Multicity hosts, with a special online session), Semifinal results and Grand Finalist Announcement on 24 October 2026, re-registration on 24 October – 1 November 2026, Grand Final Technical Meeting on 7 November 2026, and the Grand Final on 14 November 2026 in Jakarta.
No. General registration is closed. Only participants who qualified through the Semifinal continue, and they must complete re-registration between 24 October and 1 November 2026.
Qualification was a free online Competitive Programming round of 200 multiple choice questions in 120 minutes (Math 50%, Logic 50%). The Semifinal was also 200 multiple choice questions in 120 minutes (Math 20%, Logic 30%, programming content 50%), held onsite across 8 Multicity host locations — Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, Bandung, Singkawang, Tebas, Batam, and Pontianak — with online participation only for students whose access to a host city was too far.
Advancement is based on the mean (average) score of each education level in that round. The mean is calculated separately for SD, SMP, and SMA/SMK, at both Qualification and Semifinal.

No. Grand Final registration is free of charge. Transportation and accommodation to Jakarta are the participant's responsibility.
The Grand Final is held on 14 November 2026 in Jakarta, at Blossom Academy Meruya. The Technical Meeting is on 7 November 2026. Technical details, materials, consumption, facilities, and the rundown will be explained there or on site, as decided by the committee.
The Grand Final has two separate competitions: Competitive Programming (mandatory for all Grand Finalists, 120 minutes) and Hackathon (optional, 150 minutes in total, including project development and presentation). They have separate scoring and separate winners, and Hackathon results never affect the Competitive Programming score.
Hackathon is an optional competition at the Grand Final with a total duration of 150 minutes, covering both project development and presentation, separate from Competitive Programming, using Scratch (SD), Python/PictoBlox (SMP), or HTML/CSS/JS Vibe Coding with free AI tools (SMA/SMK).
The committee will ask about availability by direct message on WhatsApp to the participants with the 20 best Semifinal scores in each education level (SD, SMP, SMA/SMK). If anyone among the top 20 is unable to join, the spot passes to the next-ranked participant. Hackathon is optional and scored separately from Competitive Programming. General Track and Walnut Track are not separate competitions — both compete in the same Competitive Programming competition using the same questions and assessment. Walnut Track simply adds access to Walnut Education's coding learning platform. This applies only to SD and SMP; SMA/SMK has a single track.

The Grand Final is on Saturday, 14 November 2026 at Blossom Academy Meruya, Jakarta. The rundown depends on your education level and whether you compete in Hackathon, so find your own schedule on the Grand Final Rundown. Hackathon finalists check in earlier than finalists who compete in Competitive Programming only.
Bring your own device, its charger, and your student ID card. Keep your existing Heyhi account; do not create a new one. The committee provides internet, but a personal connection as a backup is strongly recommended. The full list is in the Participant Checklist on the Guidelines page.
Yes. Parents and guardians may attend and will be directed by the committee to dedicated sponsor and school sessions. Access to the competition area is not automatic.
